In New York, Berlin, Prague, Ethiopia and Vienna, she has collaborated with media artists and has produced multimedia site-specific live events which incorporate her body/text. "SEX: the performance series" has been produced with La Hostess and, for Laviña, is a part of a larger continuing performance series, "The Immaterial Girl Tour" which presents shifting virtual female personae in various media.
Laviña is currently writing a hypetext-based analysis of representations of sexual personae in new media as mediated performance.
